Look everyone, I updated Roan! Yaaaayyyy 
It's an interlude chapter that has to deal more with the war, and Star Swirl himself, than with Hope or the Crystal Empire. It also has to do with a very young pair of alicorn sisters who are living in the Equus capital city of Fillyon! Yes, I shamelessly stole Babylon for this story, because it sounded cool.
In any event, I have the final chapter also written up, and that will be posted next week! After that is posted I will take a short break on posting, and get working on the next story when time permits! With some luck, the first chapter of my next story, which I am still calling "canterlot on fire" while I am writing it, will be posted before the new year! I hope you all are looking forward to reading it as much as I am to write it!
