What We Talk About When We Talk About Writing - A Small Update

(At this point, maybe every blog will have a title referencing some literary work, for funsies)

Hi, everyone! I thought I'd drop by with a quick update as to what I've been working on. Nothing too fancy - I'm not good at making a blog look like that - but I figure this might interest some of you.

    Where I'm Calling From

    Introduction: A Confession

    I lied.

Well, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration. It would be more accurate to say that I opted for a partial truth. In the words of Carlos Ruiz Zafon, “Perhaps, as always, a lie was what would most resemble the truth”1—and in this fashion, I did lie.

Going to a con might have been just what I needed...

... to get back into the fanfic writing game.

I might totally be jinxing it by talking about it here, but I also think me saying it at all holds me to it, in a way.

Or maybe I'm just superstitious. Many writers are. :P

Finale! · 6:46pm Nov 25th, 2015

Here it is, everyone! The "final" chapter to A Prose By Any Other Name!

Although, there is still one final chapter to be posted, hopefully tomorrow.

I'd like to thank everyone who has stuck by this story for the past five-six months. It's been a pleasure reading the comments and writing the story. Despite initial setbacks and a ton of doubt, I think I can safely say that this story has to be one of my best works yet. And writing 100,000+ words as well certainly adds to that fact.

It started off initially as nothing more than a more detailed backstory of my pony OC. But then it evolved into something much larger than I could have imagined. It was like the story was writing itself!

That's all I have to say for now. I'll be going down to Delaware for Thanksgiving later on tomorrow, and probably won't get back until Sunday. If you enjoyed this story, then please, let me know!

See you all in the next chapter!
