    See Ya!

It's been a while since I posted a story! Heck, it's been almost a year and a half! Boy did time fly by. I wasn't active last year, not even through blogging, so consider this my update... and goodbye. Sorry to say, but I think it's high time I take my leave. It's been an up and down two and a half years on this site, but I don't think I'll regret it in the end.

    So here's the haps!

Trivia Time Answers! · 1:27am Nov 22nd, 2015

Following up from my last last blog, here's who the musicians pictured on my profile page are. Although some people came close, not a single person managed to name them all! :pinkiegasp:
Left column down:

First we have Freddie Mercury of Queen. He was one of the two artists that almost everyone guessed correctly. Although he's my favorite singer, I'm a fan of the whole band. Fun fact: Queen is the only band with a number one hit written by each member.

Next we have the Beach Boys! Most people guessed them, but that's probably because it was fairly obvious in the picture. :derpytongue2: They're my most favoritest band!

Now this one was fun to see. The man pictured is Elvis Presley, but many thought it was Elton John! I blame the glasses. I've already written a whole blog about my love of Elvis too.

And, of course, The Beatles. Practically everyone got that. :rainbowkiss:

Right column down:
Mötley Crüe, the living definition of sex, drugs, and rock n' roll. I'm going to see them on the end of December on their final tour! Yay! I believe only one person names them

I actually expected this next one to be the person no one knew, but two people correctly guessed Eric Burdon. Although Eric is known for singing House of the Rising Sun with The Animals, I do love his work with his next band, War. It's a very funky soul band that I have currently posted on my user page. Guess what? I'm going to see him live too! 'Tis be the year of concerts for me.

You know what smells like teen spirit? Kurt Cobain. All you need to know about the 90s is an alternative rock band named Nirvana. A fair number of people guessed him.

I cheated a bit on this next one. The man is Brian Wilson, a member of The Beach Boys, making him twice pictured on my page. Ah well, I love the work he did on his own. He's a total genius, being the mastermind behind almost every Beach Boys song. You think The Rolling Stones were The Beatles rival? Nope, just him. If Brian were a classical composer, he'd be on the level of Bach and Beethoven and them, no exaggeration. One person named him.

And here's the finale that broke everyone. Not a single person could get the guitarist shown here! This would be Randy Rhoads, the master guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne. He was cut down in his time, but his brief show in two albums are more than enough to prove his worth. He's a strong contender for greatest guitarist of all time.

So there you have it. I hope you had fun with the little trivia game. I might just write some blogs about my favorite artists like I did with Elvis. Until then, see you!

Well, I got he ones I listed... Wait, HOW THE HECK DID I MISS KURT COBAIN?! Oh, wait, I've never actually seen a picture of him.:twilightsheepish:

I looked and guessed a few, didn't really give answers

I know Randy Rhodes since he was on my favorite Ozzy albums (and Quiet Riot), though I couldn't tell who that was in the pic. Looked nothing like him.

Also confusing Elvis for Elton John? Seriously guys? :derpytongue2:

How the actual f*ck did I not get Mötley Crëw!

Yeah, I had no chance of figuring out Rhoads, not as tight on my post-Sabbath Ozzie lore. Looks like he was a pretty cool dude. Damn, when're rock stars gonna learn to stay the fuck out of small aircraft. Up there with speedballs for takin' out awesome motherfuckers too young.

You're officially my favorite teenager, Ellen. Eric Burdon and War was the shit. Of course, War continued being the shit after Burdon left, but it wasn't the same weird psychedelica/funk blend they made together. I'm still kicking myself that I didn't see Burdon with the New Animals when I got a chance to 20 years ago.

Left column down:

I actually got all three of them. :rainbowderp: I worked from the bottom up, though.

The bottom picture, I saw it and thought, "That looks a lot like Elvis hair. I'm gonna go with Elvis."

Then I saw three guys on a truck with a surfboard on sand and figured, "Beach Boys is as good a guess as any."

Then I saw the guy up top and was like, "I'm glad I watched Cromartie High School."

3574715 I remember that anime! :rainbowlaugh: I didn't watch it, but I looked it up because of Freddie. :derpytongue2:

3575078
You should watch it. It's pretty dope. :moustache:

Depressingly enough, something as simple as the show's opening is nigh-impossible to find. :duck:

3575276 Why's that?

3576209
Why is it depressing? Because that opening is amazing.

Why is it nigh-impossible to find? I have no idea. :derpytongue2:

3576809 I'll find it!
