Goodreads

So, I was going over some of the old stories, checking things out, working up the energy to tweak the Many Complications of Interpsecies Romance after some feedback, and saw that it had been placed in a few groups I didn't stick it in. Among those were Alicorn Applejack, Badass Protagonists (I was particularly happy to see that one) and Goodreads stories.

Now, I was unfamiliar what Goodreads was, so I checked it out.

Apparently, I'm on Goodreads.

Not just one story or two, but all of them. They've got zero ratings and nobody pays attention to them, but I was still surprised to see my stuff somewhere where I didn't stick it. One of them (Unexpected Turbulence) got itself mentioned in a thread too, apparently.

M'kay.

That was a fun thing to discover! Well, I say fun. I spent the first ten minutes trying to figure out if they were selling my stuff (which I know other sites sometimes try, which is dumb) but apparently it's just for reviews. Good thing, too: most of those stories wouldn't be sellable without a great deal of reworking. But then once I figured that out I was quite impressed with myself.

And that was my last evening! It was interesting.
