An Interesting Phenomenon · 12:26pm Nov 18th, 2015
I've noticed an odd trend around here. Whenever I blog about some project and say I'm going to do it, said project never gets done. Curious thing, that.
On a related note, about that Dark Spectrum sequel...
I'm sorry, but I don't think it's ever going to happen. It's been almost two years and I have next-to-nothing to show for it. Same set of notes and scenes as all that time ago. Despite originally wanting to make it a trilogy in the first place, it just doesn't seem to be happening, because I'm not sure exactly where to take it anymore. That mixed with waning passion, my extended writing slump, and just plain being more interested in other ideas has pretty much slain the costumed beastie. I think I got a fair few followers just from that story, so I really am sorry to let you guys down. If that's all you followed me for, I guess you can unwatch me, if you want. No hard feelings, I'd understand. I'm sorry for stringing you along for so long, but I really was holding out hope that I'd eventually be able to deliver, but I don't think it's going to come to pass. You probably would've been disappointed anyway, because I never intended to continue the superhero themes beyond the first story, and that seems to have been what people liked the most.
However, the last Seattle's Angels podcast gave me an idea. In all likelihood, the story isn't going to come out, but I can at least do something for all the people who want to know the rest of the story: tell you. I do have a set of notes and a loose outline, and if you really wanted, I could lay it all out and tell you what was most likely going to happen. You'd at least get to see the story, if not in full-fledged form. Shall I just tell everybody, would you prefer to keep holding your breath in anticipation, or does anyone even care anymore?
Edit: I'll take the silence on the matter as an indication that nobody cares. Cool with me. Consider the project dead.
Hmm, so if you blog about the project that is not going to be done, does it mean that it may be done after all?

It would figure.
3550475 But what if project was not kill?
3550504 I'd give it one last shot. Take one last chance. When you reach that point where everyone would normally give up... JUST DO IT!

I tried to find a youtube video, but got distracted halfway through and somehow ended up watching a video about an old italian dagger/sword...

Then story would undead.
You planned out an entire trilogy? Geez, that's some dedication to your ideas. Not anymore, I guess.
