    New Story out now!

Hey everyone! Remember that thing I said I'd be doing a while back? Well... Here it is!

    Hey guys! What's new?

So, I haven't been here in a good long while. I got the writing itch a while back, specifically for ponies and my old Betaverse fics. I might have something in the pipeline. I've got a few questions I'd like to ask the general pony-reading audience if you don't mind. Just so I can see if my writing style should be tweaked a bit for the modern audience.

    Stardrop's Lackluster Ending

Hello everyone. I know I've been away for a while, but that's due to me deciding to finish stories before I post them to revise, edit, and alter them to give you all better stories to read. I don't feel free to do so when I post stories live. This results in me getting frustrated with how a story is shaping up and then dropping it. That wasn't a problem when I was younger, but it's become one as

Anyone know artists who do illistrations for stories?

I'm low key working on a story which I intend to complete before posting. I'm enjoying being able to go back and improve, tweak, and change things to make the best possible version of the story, and it's nice to not feel like I am bound to a strict schedule of uploads.

A metatextual analisis of "The Bureau: XCOM Declassified" to show how it fits in the series timelines

A lot of people like the rebooted XCOM series, and a lot of people also insist its lore is bad/nonexistent. This isn't true in my opinion, but is the product of the game that sets up the world for the series having been released a year after the first game in the series as a prequel, and also it sucks ass to play. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is not a good game. At all. The story is really good,

Question time! · 1:31am Nov 6th, 2015

First, an apology for missing my normal update schedule this week. Things got hectic.

Second, what do you guys think of The Queen is Dead so far? Is there anything you want o see in the story? Who is your favorite character and why?

I think the story is awesome, way better than most modern fantasy stories. In the story... I honestly don't care, because whatever you think is best is the best, because they author is always right unless it's grammar and spelling. I would like to see more on biomancy, as it's always been one of my favorite types of magic. My favorite character is Azure Lily, for the aforementioned reasons.

3523790 I would like to puffup my chest with that but about being better than modern fantasy... But um... That's not so hard XD Good to know i am ahead of the derp curve though!

I'm definitely enjoying it, both the characters and their development and the expansion on your world-building.

so far it's okay. I reserve final judgement till the end. So far you have missed anything I would really have a problem with.

3524296 Glad to have the continium's seal of approval. Woulda thought you could tell me the ending already though.

3524325 what and ruin the surprise? Note am a rogue memeber

When do we see The Queen is Dead merch?! I need a life-sized Azur plush, stat! :rainbowlaugh:

3524431 I actualy could make a lifie sized plush. Ponies in my AU are .85 to 1.5 meters tall (Celestia being 2.4 meters because you know, twice pone size). That's not out of my capacity to sew. It would cost you a plot load though, because even with a machine... so much sewing! Also like at least 150 USD worth of floofy stuff. That shit's pricy!

I'm loving the story so far, particularly the bits of backstory world-building that likely apply to Equis-Alpha and Equis-Beta both (like Clover being the progenitor of the Diamond Hive). Dave's definitely my favorite character, because Navy! Also, he's the snarky, worldly old dude without being jaded and cynical, making him quite fun. Azur's too adorkable to dislike (seriously, dude seems to be immune to negative thoughts), and Jade is definitely one of the best young adult characters I've seen in a story. I mean, she actually uses that gray matter....I was about to say between her ears, but it's kinda spread out in a bug....and doesn't just assume that anything Dave or Azur tells her is wrong like you often see for teen or late-teen characters, nor is she inexplicably capable for someone her age.

3524497 Yeah, Jade is a hard character to write... Doing a proper Teen is... Tricky.

3524519 Well, yeah. Teens are ephemeral in their moods, often either too overconfident or underconfident, usually don't want to ask for help because they feel that they're supposed to be able to stand on their own now, and most are just getting their first taste of responsibility and independence. That's a recipe for disaster. The cocky, rebellious teen is a painfully overdone trope, though; it's nice to see one written where she's still obviously the inexperienced teen, but Jade actually uses sense.

3524556 Mild PTSD deffently would temper the whole monster teen phase down to ... this metaphor cant realy work. Uh... With the trauma Jade's experienced, she's unlikely to ever feel cocky of overconfident.

3524561 Yeah....poor girl. Nothing really can compare to fleeing as her home and everyone she ever knew was destroyed, only to have her baby sister murdered, effectively 'in her arms'.

On an unrelated subject, I kind of want this little adventure party to do something that brings the Tribunal's little masquerade crashing down at such speed that everyone is caught off guard. Say, inadvertently leading the Swarm to someplace like Manehatten?

the queen is dead is an awesome story.
I find it lacking in nothing except more chapters, a lot more...
my favorite character? hmm, I'd have say azur, I feel as if she is among the most developed chaacters (not saying any of the other ones you wrote are weak)
