Trying... and Failing

So, you know those moments where you finally have the motivation to work on a project, but no matter what you do, you just can't get it to come out right? Yeah, that's been me tonight.

I finally had the determination to try my hand at the reading, but it just wasn't sounding right. I didn't have the right inflection of voice, and I couldn't accurately portray Lyric's voice the way I wanted to. And rather than trying to muddle through the whole story like this, I've decided to shelve the recording and get some more practice in first. I'd rather be able to do the reading in as close to one take as possible, and be able to clearly portray my characters' voices, than struggle through take after take after take after take after take.

So don't worry, my dear friends. This was only the first attempt, but it is by no means my last. After all, practice makes perfect.
