The End of A New Kind of Party

It's finally here, the end of the TwiPie story, A New Kind of Party. It's been a long time, with lots of space and delays between some of the chapters.

The End of A 'Not So Simple' Simple Life

At long last, Simple Life has come to an end. It's been many years now and it's rather long. The couple certainly have come a long way, and have finally made progress. But this wasn't the original plan.

    Changes to "One Winter's Day"

So, as some pointed out about my story, One Winter's Day, it wasn't exactly 'done'. The story had mostly a beginning and sort of end, and not much of a middle.

I hadn't wanted it to be very long, afraid I would make it super long. Guess I made it too short instead. So now, I've added more and hopefully it feels better for everyone else too.

    Enjoy the holidays folks!

A New Kind of Party Seperating from Show Cannon

Meant to post this at the same time as the last New Kind of Party update, but this would be roughly where the story is definitely separating from the main cannon. It will deal with some of the episodes coming up (especially the ones I pointed out in one of my previous blogs) but this

    The Legend of the Everfree

How funny that a couple of months after I return from a summer long sleepaway camp in the woods on the mountains, my little pony comes out with their latest movie based on a camp. :rainbowlaugh:

S05E18 - Crusaders of the Lost Mark · 2:58pm Oct 11th, 2015

This will have spoilers for the latest episode of MLP. Seriously, if you haven't already watched it, why in Celestia's name not?! GO. Right now, go watch it. This blog will talk about both the episode and my own story, Cutie Mark Crusaders - Fillies on a mission!

So if you want to understand what I am going to say/the decisions I am going to be doing, go watch the episode.

Sure hope that page break things work to shorten the preview for the blog :twilightoops:

So. That. was. AWESOME! Sure, it is kind of similar to Magical Mystery Cure in how musical it is and how it's a little rushed. Could have been a great two parter. Leave on a cliff hanger of feels and then the next one is showing how the CMC try to fix it. But I liked this one for what it is. A chance to show the CMC are going to play bigger roles for the children and lost ponies of the world.

Tia has her mane six, Luna has her trio. What do I mean by that? Think about it.

Tia has the mane six for the big things, world threatening destruction things. And Twilight for the real big baddies. Luna has been focusing on the kids, and those who are lost. Lost from what they were meant to do, to keep harmony and balance in the world. She cares about them in that Nightmare Night episode way back when, and has shown up in all three Crusaders' dreams to help them be themselves, and not be jealous of others (for whatever reason). Then the Crusaders started to help others with being themselves. Like that goof, Trouble Shoes. They helped him find what his cutie mark really means. Something he misunderstood. But they did indeed help him. And then they helped Diamond Tiara. It was nice to see DT's mom. And that it was her mom setting the bad example.

But what does this mean for my story? The CMC has great future potential in the show and they have a mission, or could have a mission. The CMC in my story also have a greater destiny. But it's not going to be the same as the one in the show. They may not take on whole-changing monsters, but they aren't just focused on helping fillies and colts be themselves. So TACMCFoaM is now an alternate story line to the canon show. But I'll start to show some changes in how things go. Just some, to reflect what happens in the show.

Also, I really like their Cutie Marks. I may just use them but give it a different meaning. Because, inside those shields are their own individual parts. What they could have earned, had they realized that lesson much earlier. Think on their dreams in Bloom in Gloom. That's what is in their center of their shields. Had they decided not to follow their sisters in helping others and focus more on what they liked doing, they may have been more average cutie marks. But they stepped up. Rose above the challenge. Found a greater meaning to their life and time. Helping others. Like their sisters.

It was an awesome episode.:pinkiehappy: What are your thoughts?

I just have another thing to say regarding their cutie marks. I believe that the symbols in the middle represent their individual talents, separate from the task they perform together. It's not like all these ponies who misunderstand their cutie marks are going to just pilgrimage to ponyville just to see three little fillies. I believe Luna is going to tell them where they need to go. In the meantime, they need day to day jobs, just like how the mane six can't spend everyday being walking talking weapons of mass friendship or WMF for short. And lastly, the cmc aren't done developing: scoots needs to learn how to fly or learn to adapt because she can't, sweetie needs to learn how to perform in front of others, and Bloom will probably want to know how she fits in the apple clan. So many things and so much potential, just how they began.

Alright I'm done, keep reading and writing ponies and what not.

3463364 Yes, very much so. Thought I said they still have great potential. But aye, they have their things they like do to, but they may end up focusing more on helping other ponies. That's what they decided at the end of the episode, to help others. That may just become their day job, once they are old enough to be on their own.
