Story Updates! (Or, "Ten More Things I Think I Think") · 4:02pm Sep 15th, 2015
1. First things first: I think it's time for me to end my social media holdout and join the rest of society:

2. Now, for the important stuff: I think Chapter 4 of An Inkling of Friendship will be published on September 18th. Mario Maker and Splatoon may move that date a little, but I'm already 2,100+ words into the chapter, so it shouldn't move much.
3. I think—no, I know—that I'm floored by the incredible popularity of AIOF. Not even MKE racked up 500+ views in under two months! I was really worried about writing an Inkling-centric crossover with an all-OC main cast, but you all came out in force and really embraced Danielle and the crew. Thank you!
4. I think another milestone snuck up on me: I hit 50 (actually 51 as of this post) followers! Welcome to the party, everyone!
5. I think I'm going to have to make a hard decision about An Angel From Above. It's gotten good reviews so far, but overall, it's getting flattened by the AIOF hype train. Throw in all the time playing Splatoon and Mario Maker (not to mention actual life stuff), and I'm starting to think I won't have time to write two stories at once.
For now, I'm just going to weight my update schedule more in favor of AIOF, and avoid putting AAFA on hiatus. Thus, my current update plan is is follows:
—Finish Chapter 4 of AIOF
—Write Chapter 5 of AIOF
—Write Chapter 4 of AAFA
—Write Chapter 6 of AIOF, and so on.
6. I think I'm officially against Fimfiction's small-rating-hiding system. Starlight Glimmer, Tomb Raider had some decent view momentum going right up until the policy change, and then nobody read it for a month because it only had 9 ratings...and then once rating #10 came in, people suddenly started reading it again. I think the policy is discouraging people from reading small-rating stories because they just assume if the rating isn't shown, the story's probably bad.
7. I think I need a cool image to balance all this text. This should do it:

9. I think the quality of Thomas Rhett's upcoming album "Tangled Up" will surprise a lot of people. I'm really digging the tracks I've heard so far.
