Noticed, but Divine Right has an ancestor that chatted with the late king Sombra and Celestia probably came up once or twice. That said, this knowledge comes from second hand sources that are a 1000 years out of date and knowing Sombra he probably didn't describe Celestia in any impressive light either. Divine Right probably doesn't even know Sombra was overthrown and killed.
Also going by his insult of "Spawn of the Sun Bitch" he thinks Sunset is Celestia's daughter.
While he still will be very dangerous one of the most recurring themes with pretty much every major villain in MLP is their arrogance. They always drop the ball somewhere and in Divine Right's case I'm thinking that's ignorance. He's neither as powerful or as knowledgeable as he likes to think he is.

Divine Right's darkness goes deeper than what we've seen so far, I can tell Shin's only scratched the surface with what we've seen from him in book 3... And if things are going the way I think they might... with a huge danger towards her friends and family, which will result in Sunset having to out herself to her family, then yes, she's going to lay down EVERYTHING to do what she can to protect what she loves.
And I LOVE this idea... I'm so hype for book 4 right now.
