Some good news · 7:52am Aug 23rd, 2015
I'm still terrified that I'll wind up getting another repetitive strain trying to write with the swipe keyboard, but so far it is working.
I wrote 2500 words yesterday, and around 3000 today. I also just finished chapter 53, which means I'm done with the initial write of Block 5. The block is sitting at nearly 100,000 words!
Next up, I'm going to work on fixing up block five, which will take a while. I've thought of many changes and improvements I need to do. I'm also going to be working on Designing Intrigue.
I'm incredibly excited to start work on Block 6, as it's going to be a HUGE one containing missions six and seven. Six is going to be a rather large mission, while seven is going to be freaking enormous. I'm super excited to finally get to write both! The end of mission seven also marks the halfway point of book two... Roughly, anyway. It's honestly really hard to estimate stuff like that.
Oh, and I updated the word counter on my user page.
Now, bad news. My back still hurts. Not as bad as before, as I can walk around decently now, but it's hard to find a comfortable position to write in. It sucks.
Other bad news. For a while now I've had a rule that I had to write one new word for every word I post. Well...
For block five, each posted word needs two new words. Why? Because I have to write and fix up a whole block before I can post any of it, and block six is going to be stupidly huge. The two-to-one ratio will ensure there isn't an insane wait between blocks.
Anyway, wish me luck. With my health lately, I'll need all I can get to make sure I don't hurt myself with this new method. :P

My fingers are crossed. Continuing Designing Intrigue is nice to hear, especially since it sounds like your body is up for continuing a side story. That said, if that turns out not to be the case, don't be afraid to keep it on hiatus. Still, glad to hear the swiping appears to be working out.
Count me also really glad to hear that the new approach is working out.
Good luck. :)
That's lots of words!
Good news: Yay!
As good as it is to know you've found a way to write that doesn't hurt (as much? at all?) or worsen your injury, with this two-words-per-posted-word rule i can't help but say: pleeeeeeeease be careful.
