I went to Otakon, for those wondering. It was a lot of fun! I encountered a lot of dudes wearing My Little Pony t-shirts. It was kind of a surreal experience. I also spent more money than was probably a great idea, but I do not think I will regret it.
Time to start writing again. In the meantime, I've added a new chapter to They're Comfy and Easy to Wear (although I'm quickly reaching the point where it might as well be called "Short Stories about Fluttershy"). It's another old thing that I wrote that hasn't been available for public consumption until now. I take it out and read it sometimes when I'm feeling down. Now I pass it on to you.
Edit: Deleted duplicate blog post. And holy hell am I in the feature box again guys. Guys it was just a silly update for a dumb thing, you don't have to... I mean I appreciate it, but... guys... seriously you guys...

That last chapter reminded me of when I had the flu. Fluttershy came to me in a fever dream and fixed a bowl of soup.

Unfortunately I only really have the time and money for one convention a year. and as Otakon is the one that all of my friends go to, it will probably fill that spot for the forseeable future. I would like to hit up a pony convention some day, though.

I don't think it's entirely a coincidence.
I'd like to think it's not just me, tho. I'm sure there were a lot of reasons that went into the change, so it was probably mostly unfortunate timing on my part. I don't mind either way, really. More slots in the box means more people get featured, surely that means everyone wins? Features for all, I say!
262368 Well if it's any consolation, it's been in the works for many weeks anyways, there was just a debate as to when and how they'd do it because they didn't want the featured box to be not seem as if it was being watered down. Less meaningful.
In my opinion though I never liked that there was just 5 slots anyways. Ten is a good balance and shows us more of what's out there then a mere five ever could would how big this site's gotten. I'm semi-happy that you were essentially the straw that broke the pony's back. :P (proof we needed a bigger anyways, not that it'll please everyone... nothing ever does for some people lol)
But. yes, ten in a box was long overdue and discussed. You just showed them it needed to be done sooner xD (it's a small fix compared to things they want to add anyways)
