All right, fine, I trolled somebody!
At least, I think it was trolling. I can't be certain; he may be a troll himself, so I'm just trying to add humor to the situation. I just can't help but be skeptical of someone who acts like this.
Have you guys met my alt that I created about 10 minutes ago, Sir Kuljurk? Neither did I until about 10 minutes ago. If you don't get the joke, just say his name out loud. 
So, there's currently a petition going on that's an attempt to ban all foalcon from the site. You know, I'm of that whole mindset of "don't knock it till you've tried it," but I'm pretty sure this guy hasn't even tried reading foalcon. He just thinks it's bad or something.
Well, it attracted a lot of troll comments. He's also taking his abilities to delete user comments with gusto. Not that there's anything wrong with either of those things, just as there's nothing wrong with a petition that's made to attract user concerns. I'm personally of the opinion that each person should be allowed to choose what they like, and as long as their likes are not harmful to their fellow human being, there is nothing wrong with having that like. Foalcon is only bad if it spawns future pedophiles--and that, I'm fairly certain, has no basis in truth whatsoever. But hey, if everyone signs a petition saying ban something, go ahead and ban it. In a way, I'm promoting his petition for any concerned users who want to ban foalcon, right?
I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing to sign that petition, even; this is why I consider what I did today trolling. But hey, Sir Kuljurk just can't pass up the opportunity to join in on one of these things, right? I mean, his name is Sir Kuljurk; what do you think he got knighted for?
So, I asked the guy first to add Sir Kuljurk, my main account, on my behalf, from this account; he told me he needed me to comment with my account in order to be added, so all right, I had to go and make Sir Kuljurk real quick. While I was in the process of doing so, he took the liberty of adding my name to his list. Finally, Sir Kuljurk having been breathed to life, it was time to set things straight.
And, well, he did.
So, guys... if you ever have need of a knight to remind users how much their opinions matter to other people who share their their opinions, just call on Sir Kuljurk; he's sure to give you a rise.

I have to say, this is some pretty pathetic trolling on your part. I would call it trolling, since you deceived someone else of your true motives for doing something with an intent to deceive for the reason of laughing at said person's stupidity for believing you, but it just wasn't very good. He has no reason to disbelieve Sir KurlJurk is not your main account; who reads account names out loud? Sure he could just check which account has more activity, but it's something of an asshole move to argue with someone which account is their main one, especially when they specifically requested to use one account over the other.
Also, I really doubt this is trolling. It's a perfectly reasonable movement: foalcon could easily be could an eyesore of the internet(one of many, admittedly) and a mark of shame for the brony community. It's debateble yes, but that'd be the whole point of the petition: to see which side has more supporters, to get something of an objective number for how eyesorey and shamey of a crime foalcon truly is. Any act of trolling, any good act of trolling at least, should be a couple more steps over the top, to the point where it's hard to believe any real person could possibly support it. And I don't blame him for not trying it if he hasn't, the stuff he wants banned can be pretty horrifying, and he doesn't have to read it to know it's bad. It's like how I don't have to be a rape victim to know rape's bad.
tl;dr You failed in your troll attempt scoots, and this guy has a fairly reasonable argument that's probably not trolling.
3274925 I logged out to check, FimFiction makes you confirm you're 18+ before letting you view mature stuff, So unless your sister is lying to the website, she couldn't see anything too traumatizing.
That being said, I do wish there was a safe mode E- rated option for the site that made it so there were no blog posts and you can only browse E-rated stories. That would be nice for showing stuff to the kids I tutor.

I don't see it as a big deal. I mean, there are those types of things splattered across the community already anyway. Go to Google Images, type in the name of one of the Mane 6, and count how many questionable or explicit images are on that general search. Chances are, there are a few mature pictures there already. A little girl could be looking at pictures of Twilight when WOAH, guess Twilight's studying anatomy today, hm?
I am not into foalcon or even just clop in general, so I have "mature" turned off. Should someone like me go on a rampage to eradicate any and all forms of clop? Absolutely not. Even if it isn't my cup of tea, people have the right to express themselves as they see fit. If they express something generally frowned upon, then hey, they're probably going to be frowned upon. I'd place a second bet that if you went to any of these foalcon stories and looked at the comments, you would see quite a few of them throwing a hissy fit.
If you don't like foalcon and you see a foalcon fic, pull up your grown up pants and walk away from it like an adult. Attacking the comment section or going on some petition crusade just shows that you have nothing else better to do, and also shows insecurity with your own views.

I may be a shitty troll, but that doesn't mean my intentions were any less dishonest.
My primary goal is humor, which is why I made this blog post; I at least wanted others to understand the humor I tried to add to the situation, whether it was successful humor or not. The way I went about it was where I was making the judgment from; for anyone who knows me, it's not trolling, it's an obvious joke. I was doing it to someone who didn't know me and had no way of knowing I'd be using deception to get a laugh out of him.
What possessed me to call it a "troll" attempt, and why it wasn't necessarily a total failure, is because a troll hinges on their being undetected. I was obviously trying to make him look silly, and he didn't pick up on it. I guess I wasn't being incessantly rude and obnoxious, so I wasn't following all the trolling rules, so by definition, I guess no, it wasn't trolling. It's not so much a failed troll attempt as not a troll attempt at all, if you want to get technical.
What would you call what I did? Just standard Gadfly behavior?

If you're going to troll someone, it should be more over the top. There's no skill involved in tricking someone into believing something easily believable, the skill is when you convince someone that you honestly believe everyone who writes foalcon is an active paedophile/violent rapist/drug user, you are currently petitioning Barrack Obama to write an executive order that fimfiction should ban foalcon in all its forms, both explicit and implied, and that you a ranking member of both a creationist church and the KKK.
