*Writer's block returns home from her vacation*
WB: "I can't believe it's been three weeks since I last saw Lance! I can't wait to see him again."
*She goes up to my front door and opens it... only to find me on the couch with another Block*
WB: "LANCE! WHO'S SHE?"
*I jump up, startled, and so is the other Block*
Me: "Ah! W-Writer's Block. I... didn't think you'd be back for another week. Uh... this is another friend of mine, Developer's Block."
DB: "Lance, you didn't tell me you already had a girlfriend."
WB: "Lance, how could you?"
*Writer's Block begins sobbing and runs into the backroom*
Me: "Writer's, wait! I can explain!"
DB: "Let me add something else for you to explain."
*Developer's Block slaps me powerfully before turning and walking out the front door*
...
Was that at all possible to follow? Because I had a hard time following it as I was writing it.
Anyway, you all remember Markiplier's Royal Quest, right? Unfortunately, I'm suffering from Developer's Block on that game. I know what's supposed to go where, (by which I mean bosses, story text, and flavor text), but... I'm just not inspired to make it right now.
I dunno, I might switch my original plan around, go back to writing so I have time to let the ideas for MRQ settle down, and get back to work when I actually buy RPG Maker VX Ace.
Yes, as a matter of fact, I can hear you celebrating. I wouldn't if I were you. I'm not gonna move any stories forward with this break, but rather write a bonus chapter or two. I have one in the works for A New Family which involves all three Felix, Marcus, and Alonzo, and I might come up with another one about Mangol, Fluff, and Connor. (I doubt that one will happen, though...)
Also, I came up with a new story idea that I may never get off the ground but is still fun to have. Anyone here played (or watched Chuggaaconroy play) Xenoblade Chronicles? Well, my idea was to put ponies into that incredible story, and thus ruin the game forever. The story itself is self-explanatory, so I'll share some of the cast with you. (Note, some of these may cause spoilers, so I have the spoilers blocked out.)
Twilight - Shulk
Rainbow Dash - Dunban
Spike - Dickson
Gilda - Mumkhar
Fluttershy - Fiora
Applejack - Reyn
Rarity - Melia
Shining Armor - Kalian
Pinkie Pie - I kind of want her to be Riki for obvious reasons, but I'm not sure how that will work since Riki was of an entirely different race than the rest of the team.
Sunset Shimmer or Starlight Glimmer - Egil
Lyra - Sharla Those who've played a little further in may be able to guess why.
Celestia and Luna - Those who've played to the first ending know exactly who these two will be. *chuckles evilly*
Starswirl the Bearded - Alvis
