What the S#@! · 8:27am Jul 11th, 2015
Okay, so the next chapter for Man of War might take a little longer than I previously thought. Right now it's at 8k, and I thought it was done. I checked my notes, and I still have four perspectives to go through! (Making a total of six)! At this rate, it could ver easily be 15k - 20k words. I still intend to leave the structure as is, but what the shit? Why did I do all the perspectives? Where did I go wrong (or right, depending on how you look at it). I'll get it done though, mark my words!
By the way, do you guys like longer chapters? Let me know your opinions in the comment section below.
Brony on!
The longer, the better in my opinion. Keep up the good work man.
i like long chapters but without the chapter being stretched unnecessarily if you get my idea
i prefer a good "short" chapter if the alternative is "long" chapter that was made just to be big and fit a word count without any real need
20k is a bit too much. I cant read 20k without taking a break.
I like to read a lot, so a 15k - 20k would be my normal chapter lenght.
The longer the better and stay strong.
Honestly depends on content.
If a long chapter is full of fluff and meaningless garbage I will skim read or skip it, however if it holds relevant information for the plot and expands from there, great.
Quality, not Quantity
i prefer longer chapters as long as they don't drag the story on just for the sake of having long chapters and they don't end up degrading the quality
Honestly any update is good update :) but I love the longer chapters, I reread every few chapters(yes from the start). I've got a regime set up so the chapters that are new surprise me at the end ;) watch out for ducks and allpaca on
