Well, even Super Mario is a little surprising for me since he's basically the king of video games. And no, that's not to say that he has the best games (though they're pretty damn fun!), but if it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have Steam, or X-Box, or PS4, or anything!

I'm guessing you've never heard of the great video game crash of 85. Basically, there was a video game based of E.T. that was so bad, it nearly destroyed video gaming forever. If it wasn't for Super Mario Bros four years later, Steam and X-Box would be a sparkle in our eyes. Not even!

Oh the crash of 85. I forgot that was a thing after I watch a documentary where they dug up the landfill with all the E.T games but found not very many copies of the game was actually there. Instead they found a whole lot of Nintendo games where buried there as a way too send off all their old games. Including E.T.
