Hey guys, it's, uh, it's been a while. I just wanted to do a post to let you all know that I am officially working on the next chapter of The Marvelous Misadventures of Shining Armor and the CMC. I'm really sorry for having put it off for this long. Part of it was because I was working on another story, but I was reaching roadblock after roadblock, and it just hasn't been going the way I wanted it to. I've also been reading a lot, mostly the works of Garth Nix, and the Spice & Wolf novels (both of which I highly recommend). The third reason I've been putting off writing the next chapter, and I really hate to admit this, but I was just feeling uninspired. It wasn't that I disliked my story, nor did I want to stop writing it, I just couldn't bring myself to write it, and I didn't want the next chapter to be a forced, half hearted attempt. Thankfully now, whatever funk I found myself in these past few months appears to have lifted, and I am back on track full force. I've worked past whatever trouble I'd been having with the opening, and am finally having fun writing again. I can't make any promises as to when the next chapter will be up (because lets face it, I've never met a single deadline that I've set for myself), just take solace in the fact that I am back, working hard to bring you this chapter. So, yeah, that's it for now. I'm sure I'll check in every now and again to let you know how things are going, or just to do random blog posts (I miss doing those). I'll catch you all later.
Glad to have you back man! I look forward to the update, and cannot wait to see what zanney (mis)adventures "Gleaming Shield" gets into next. Especially since Cadance is now revealed to know who Gleaming Shield actually is.

Hey dude, a forced chapter is generally a lot worse than a inspired one. You're not getting paid, wait till you're feeling like a champ instead of a chump.
But even if your chapter wasn't up to par I'd still like it anyway.
