Back at it

Hey ya'll, did you all have a good summer? I sure did. As it turned out, a vacation was exactly what I needed to get the creative juices flowing again. While I was away, I was able to jot a few things down, which I left almost untouched for a couple of weeks because of writers block. Then today, I had a bit of inspiration, and got to work fixing some of the problems, smoothing out some areas that I'd already written and laying the groundwork for the rest of the story. I still don't have much written (just a couple of pages), but it's a start. I have a good idea of how I want things to go so it shouldn't be too difficult to do. It shouldn't be as demanding as The Marvelous Misadventures of Shining Armor and the CMC ended up being, but it's still a good length. I don't want to talk about it too much because I don't want to give away anything, but I will say that it is going to be another Shining Armor story. I came up with it while I was still struggling to come up with content for the last one, and now that I no longer have something to work on, I figured I might as well get to writing it. Hopefully I can have similar bursts of inspiration that will help me to focus more down the line so this story doesn't take a year or more to write, or die before it's complete. I hope sometime in the next few months I'll have something fun and silly for you all to read.
