I inspired a story!

So a guy named Pononimous read A Year of Derpy and was inspired to write a story called Derpy's Song. I dunno 'bout you, but that's pretty awesome. I wrote something that inspired somebody who read it, and to me, that's amazing. Anyway, you should go check it out.

Also, for those of you who've read both A Year of Derpy and one of my more lighthearted stories, which genre do you think I'm better at writing? The lighthearted ones are really easy for me because I don't have to put much effort into it, but easy does not necessarily mean good.
