Okay, I've picked it back up. But seriously: coming home to 443 notifications and finding out I've been featured? You guys rock. After Metamorphosis got such a lukewarm reception I was a little worried about how this would be received, but lo and behold, I’ve still got it.

And that last scene will be rewritten because people are misunderstanding Applejack and Rarity's motivations. They aren't conspiring against Twilight, nor are they looking for a quick fix. They are looking to help her in the long term, and they're going to be very upfront about it. They are keeping it from the other three for the moment, however, because they expect them to be busy enough with Scootaloo.
You may have noticed I haven't commented on any future speculation. that's intentional. I will only say this: there will be some external villains in this.
Anyway, updates for this one will be Mondays at 7 central time. At least, that’s the plan. No word on how long it will take.
I’m already looking forward to doing the third story, but I’m not going to rush this one. I’ll take me time and try to write the development naturally. This will be full of world building and character interaction, with a sprinkle of action in some places. If I do my job right, you’re in for a treat.
Also, when season three airs next month, these fics may become Alternate Universe. I reserve the right to ignore anything that might contradict my ideas, though I’m going to try and keep it from coming to that.
Anyway, Honeymoon will be up before too long, hopefully before the end of August, and About Last Night will be posted sometime after that. Just a quick update there.

Heh, I for one didn't think AJ and Rarity were conspiring against Twilight, especially after the serious talk at the end of Post Nuptials. And I'm confused exactly on how Fluttershy and Pinkie would fit in on the issue with Scootaloo, rather than Rarity and AJ themselves, cause of the fact that they're the ones with siblings who hang out with the pegasus.
But hey, I'm not the author, so won't complain about your reasoning behind it and you don't gotta tell me! And I'll be definitely looking forward to updates, now that I will be following you and seeing when they come!
By third story, do you mean Families, the one you're doing now? Or a third possible story in the same timeline, if this won't be the end of the matter?
And external (outside) villains? Not sure if that means the big ones like Discord and Chrysalis, or smaller antagonists, like Trixie, Flim and Flam (who were mentioned in the last one, but could break out), Diamond Dogs, etc. But again, don't gotta answer!
And Season 3 comes out next month?! Are you for real?!

2. Ah, I see. I DID see that blog before I might have officially watched you, but forgot that. I just wasn't sure, since this is your third story have submitted to this site, and presumably written overall. And I see and understand clearly now, where you had them listed was for a reason.
3. And I assumed likely meant more of the smaller ones, rather than a big one, but wasn't familiar with that word being used with villains, so... yeah. But now I know!
