Taking a trip, which may impact Ghost Lights · 6:24pm Jun 11th, 2015
My spring quarter is finished! Yay! That means I have a chance to see my family.
In a few minutes, after I pack my stuff in my car, I'm going to be taking off on a road trip from Seattle to a little town in northern Illinois about 2,000 miles away. As you can imagine, It'll take a few days. I'll be taking my computer and working on Ghost Lights as downtime permits, but I don't know if I'll still be on the road or not during Saturday, my usual new chapter release day, or if realistically I'll even have the new chapter completely written by then. Most hotels these days have internet access, so if I somehow do have it written, I might be able to get it posted. Odds are good that won't happen, though, so I just thought I'd let everyone know that the new chapter may be delayed. If so, sorry. I'll try to have something for you when time permits.
See you later.
Thanks for the heads up. Hope you have a good time with your folks.
Sounds like a great drive... climbing out of the wet part of the state to the dry part, across the continental divide into The Big Sky Country and the Dakotas. Finally into the woodlands of Minnesota and the lakes and farms of Wisconsin before returning to the old homestead. Sounds like a great drive. Sounds like a great drive indeed.
Sounds like you are doing the Seawall journey IRL.
Stay safe, have fun, and do not stress out too much about making the chapter release schedule.
