Where Have I Been, Right? · 6:53am Jun 8th, 2015
You can tell that summer is nearly upon us, my friends. Overtime at work has increased a bit, and come the end of June I have a three week period of overtime coming due to vacations. But despite my work schedule, I have still been working on my stories, updates and even some new projects here and there.
My current slow down is due to a personal matter. Last week, my mother went in for reconstructive surgery on her knee and is limited in what she can do until she heals and has made it through the two week mark of her convalesce. So I've become saddled (no pun intended) with more chores and responsibilities in the mean time. Nevertheless, I will prevail.
On a side note, I am happy to report that my inspiration for my stories has been staying with me and quite strongly I might add. I've got a nice start to chapter 5 of Jeanne's story "Then There Was You" and when chapter 5 posts, I have sweet little surprise to go with it. I'll clue you all into it more as the time for chapter's unveiling draws nearer. I've made some good progress on chapter 14 of Luna's story "A Total Eclipse of Their Hearts" and even have chapters 15 and 16 all but outlined (15 is basically outlined but 16 needs just a little more outlining). I've been mulling over my outline for chapter 9 of Celestia's story "You Brighten My Day". And fans of Twilight's story "For Whom She Sparkles" have nothing to fear either. Ideas for chapter 5 are still coming along nicely.
Now onto the future. I've got three new projects cooking on the back burner. There's no reason to get too excited just yet, but I think it's time to note that I've got some new stories on the way. I just want to make my four big stories a little closer to done before I go launching any more multi-chapter stories. Oh, and I have a new one-shot that I've completed the rough draft of. It's a little shy of 5,000 words, but was something I was inspired to write thanks to a story a friend of my shared with me. I'm not going to reveal anything on this one-shot just yet. I'd like it to be a surprise and be a bit of a showman as I leave you all wondering what it could be. And yeah, 5,000 words, that does sound a bit short for me. But, I was able to accomplish what I needed to for the story in that length, and here's another shocker, in a similar light like "A Relaxing Evening with Luna", this story has no major romance or clop. I'm probably going to give it a "Teen" rating, even though it probably would be safe to mark it for "Everyone". As the time comes for this story, which I'm hoping will be in about a week, I can share more details, such as which pony is the star and maybe a little hint of what the story will entail.
For now, I want you all to know that despite a lack of any real free time and having some extra responsibilities, I'm still doing what I love, when I can. Like I always say, I'm eternally grateful for your support and patience. It's always great to login and find I have new watchers and more and more readers tucking my stories into their watch list, libraries or even their favorites. It helps spur me along as I continue to create. And with August drawing nearer, I'm getting stoked for the Convention!
Till next time! Take care, everyone!!

Uh Jadex maybe you should try them one at a time? You be be overworking yourself a bit. Still It's good to hear thing s are going well still. And that sucks about your mom, I don't want to have to have reconstructive surgery on anything in me.
The same thing is happening to me at work actually, everyone is going on vacation and it is killing me. My manager isn't piling it on as much as some other coworkers due to my long history of knee injuries but it is still taking its toll. Best of luck in your mothers recovery, I haven't needed surgery for my knee problems yet but I know firsthand that they are not fun.
Just take your time, the good stuff can take time sometimes. I had a huge burst of creativity when I went on vacation last month by posting 3 chapters of a new fic in the span of a week or so and the first update on another fic in quite a while and I am pleased with the results of that.
(I use icons when I'm lost for words, y'know )
aww im soo sorry. I hope shes doing okay and I hope you are too. I wish you all the best and take your time. we aren't gonna die at least hopefully not of not reading the stories although I think they are that good XD. you are the greatest author and I just wanted to say you have done so great thanks for all so far! :) I hope everything works out. oh what the hay, I know it will! those who are great and pure of heart like you and the people on this awesome sight (except those haters :/) always get good things in life. just know that you have all these fans who understand and want you to take your time. the more time in stories increases the awesomeness of it like dashie says, it is 20% more cooler! Always the best hope everything turns out great,

Jay Just Take It Easy, You Need To Sit Back And Relax My Friend.
I'm curious, what convention are you attending in August? BronyCon?

Yes, it is Bronycon. And thank you for the detailed feedback on Twilight's story. Sadly, a lack of time is what's really delaying the next chapter and updates on my other stories as well. Oh and when chapter 5 does finally show up, don't think anything that happens as the result of Daisy's showing up means things are at all as they seem. A quick brush away doesn't mean an end to any tension or drama. Rest assure, I plan on pursuing this carefully, but also to my own liking in the end. I'll also say this, the lack of any update isn't just due to a lack of time, it's due to the care I always work hard to put into my stories.
Take care!

Nice to hear from you! I'll be attending BronyCon this year for the first time, so I'm quite excited to see the sights. I suspect that you may turn up at one of the writing panels?
You're quite welcome on the feedback. I try to give my honest impressions and any constructive criticism that I can. I feel I'm pretty levelheaded in my feedback as it's easy for any constructive feedback to taken the wrong way.
I'm glad you have some more plans for continuing Twilight's story. Although, it does seem rather obvious that your main energies are being directed towards your Luna story (judging by word count), but such is the dilemma with running multiple stories at the same time.
Since I've caught up, I think I'll be giving your Luna story a read after I read your Twilight one-shot story. Keep up the great work!
