Horse anatomy

Ah, I see that someone else knows where the elusive 'snoot' is upon a horse. So much grief over that word in the past year for using it in my writings. It is not a piece of photography equipment, but an actual part of a horse, the fleshy pad that exists at the end of the horse's muzzle.

Also... ponies riding people. Seems appropriate somehow.

Seriously? Snoot is just referring to one's nose. how does that not translate to our beloved ponies?

This is the more commonly used definition. Snout is the spelling i usually see for it, but they are two completely different words.

I still think "snoot" sounds silly. I don't say that as a denigration of the word or of you for using it. It just sounds silly to me. Snoot.

The cuteness levels are too high! I kid, they are not high enough. I like this. For some reason more than I usually like ponies. Which is weird because I usually don't like humans in my pony stuff. Also ironic considering the story I'm currently working on.

Actually, 'snoot' is similar in definition.the only difference is the added version of if that includes the nose.
