Soooo… I think I might need a prereader for Shimmer of the Sunset.
I think I've done okay for myself, but it couldn't hurt, right?
I don’t actually know anyone who reads/writes fanfiction about these harmonious ponies of friendship, so I turn to you, oh wise and noble internet. Yes, I am aware of the writer groups, and yes, I will be looking into them shortly.
Basically, here's the gist of it: I know where I want to take the story and everything, but I sometimes falter when it comes to actually getting it onto the page and keeping the tone relevant to the story.
For example:
Let's say I were to take a story that was a bit ominous and based off a classic novella about a scientist whose morality begins to falter, into a terrible Ghostbusters crossover that quickly looses the original tones and themes that were intended, then you have my permission to smack me upside the head. Actually, that last part is open to anyone for the time being*.
If interested PM or email me. Send a carrier pigeon for all I care… Actually, that would be sweet! Do that! I'll bake cookies, or brownies or something. Whatever you prefer.
So, onto my never-ending quest to attempt writing literature that won't make people want to throw rocks at me, and then find some form of income. Maybe I should have gotten that Doctorate in Pop Culture when I had the chance?

It will continue, and the next chapter should have been up ages ago, but I keep getting sidetracked with this whole job search thing. Hopefully, I should get it uploaded tomorrow. I had originally wanted to wait until I had a solid lead on the following chapter, but I got a tad stuck. I really just need to sit down and write that one out.
3238546 I know how that is! I'm writing a Spike centered story, and thanks to Dr. Wolf and Silver Quill, I've got a few ideas up my sleeve. I'm hoping that I could at least send it to Hasbro's writers since they apparently, by their own admission, have NO IDEA what to do with his character. SO....MUCH....POTENTIAL being wasted
