So... I just submitted a new story for approval.
Thus far, Shimmer of the Sunset (totally original title that came to me in a dream) only has one chapter, but I have plans to take it places. Basically, it will deal with Sunset Shimmer trying to make up for all the bad she's done and receive forgiveness from all those that she's hurt.
Apparently, I am not the only one to come up with this completely original idea (even though I totes came up with it and other parts that might be excluded from the final version right after I first saw EQG). Sooo... I have not looked into or read any fics dealing with my favorite Equestria Girl. I wanted the story to be my own. I do hope my execution and writing style are judged more than the content, but knowing this fandom (or fandoms in general), whose to say?
As for that title:
When I was first outlining this story last week (at about 3 in the morning) I began messing with her name and reordering the words in my head. Thus, the title.
Moral of the story:
I STILL take "3am me" seriously, and should probably vet some of his ideas a bit more than I already do.
