So, after pulling an all-nighter, two finals, packing and moving from one end of California to the other, I'm finally settled in for the next month. Hopefully. Internet is a little spotty, but that's nitpicking.
Aside from some family matters that I won't get into yet—because it could be nothing, you'll know when I know, just pray it's nothing—my summer should be pretty laid back. So naturally, I am switching every gear I have into finally, finally finishing Sunset of Time! So overdue, so ready to be done. I love it, but it needs to finish. Now! Two chapters to go. Plus the epilogue. I give it two weeks. Give or take editing.
After that, I have a new project that will take its place. A new epic to truly test the limits of my writing capability. Will I finish it? Who can say. Lord knows I'll try. It'll be slow going at first, because Firebird Dahlia and Long Road to Friendship should be my priorities upon to conclusion of SoT. I'll talk more about them later.
It's midnight, I'm a little tired, but I have a job to do. Off to write. Have some more freaking fantastic fan art for Sunset of Time made by the awesome Spinoffjoe. Words cannot describe how much I love this one. Spoilers below if you aren't caught up.

typically struggles not being in vein and all that. i cannot see a sunshine and rainbows ending for that story, but something of the bittersweet seems most plausible.
3090355 it would be satisfying if it ends with some kind of victory, hwoever bitter or sweet.
and honestly i can see two different ways that could be done. two ways that are irreversible. two things only sunset can do. two things that could explain so many thigns i have been wondering throughout the story, that could change the future.
i am hoping least one or both of these methods are used. cause they would be clever, make so much sense...... though otherwise, the story will make no sense. maybe i just see no purpose in a story where all is for naught, but there are far too many things that can be done to change everything for that to happen. two acts, two methods, two ways to change the future.

Guess i have found a weird time to find this story since its ending so soon.
Anyway, gotta say, i like it! For the most part. Dilemmas are interesting, and the characterization and general writing is pretty good. Albeit some parts are a bit more iffy than others.
The gryphons were idiots. Plain and simple.
Though i do have an issue with that whole causality thing. Maybe it is just my opinion, but i am not sure if it buy it. Seems a little implausible things would just go as is when we have a powerful unicorn like sunset interfering. I really hope it doesn't go the past can't be changed route, though it does seem to be heading there. Put simply, it wouldn't make much sense considering that time cannot just repeat itself when you have something as major as a new player like sunset thrown in. Though maybe it wasn't causality and was the remnants of vesper inside of her manipulating her maybe? Causing her to make sure these events played out as is?
The potential of Sunset changing the events is far too plausible. I can think of at least three things she would be capable of doing to stop Vesper and change the future.
I am hoping for something intersting for the climax of the story. Depending how it ends though... Not sure. I have a few other issues here and there, but ultimately how significant they are might depend on how the ending occurs.
