Icing Pie and the Pie Sisters' Matrilineage · 5:14am May 7th, 2015
Icing Pie (1315-1401) was the daughter of Cupcake Pie (1212-1413) and the mother of Sweetie Pie (1346-1471). With this addition, we now have ten generations of Pie Matrilineage culminating in Pinkie Pie, as follows:
Sweet Melody Pie (~1100-~1180): Born in South Dunnich, and descended from both Pies and Sweeties, hence kin to Rarity and Sweetie Belle.
Harmonia Pie (1140-1308): The infamous necromancer, who extended her life by baking blasphemous baked goods.
Cupcake Pie (1212-1413): Her youngest and rather innocent daughter, who ate the eponymous treats without realizing what they were.
Icing Pie (1315-1401): Cold and correct, she spent her life living down her grandmother's dark reputation.
Sweetie Pie (1346-1471): Whose kindness was such that the nature of her great-grandmother was mostly forgotten. She bore to the Paracosmic Paradise
Florinda ("Fluffy") Pie (1365-1405): A Daughter of Paradise, which is to say a Fluffen-Puffen, who was one of the rare ones to fall in love with an ordinary Earth Pony, Pure Gold (1322-1405) (whose brother Golden Heart married Apple Bloom the Elder and was ancestral to the Ponyville Apples, and one of the brothers of whom may have been retroactively inserted into reality by Pinkie Pie in 1504). When her husband died in an accident, she willed herself to die as well. Their daughter was
Surprise ("The Nth") Pie (1387-1489): A highly-eccentric mathematical genius, who had a wild youth before meeting Reliable ("Relly") Oaktree (1378-1488) in college and marrying him. Their daughter was
Golden ("Goldie") Pie (1419-1513): Who studied biology, medicine and the occult. She discovered the dark legacy of her great-great-great-grandmother Harmonia and in response swore to serve the cause of Light and Life for as long as she lived. She became a brilliant midwife and a High Friend of Paradise. She wed her childhood sweetheart Jasper Quartz (1419-1493), who would die fighting a Shadow Drake, and was the mother of many by him, including
Cloudy Quartz Pie (b. 1456), a shy and intellectual but tough-as-nails rock farm-filly who bore Maud (b. 1476), Claire (b. 1481) and her famous twin Pinkie Pie (b. 1481) as Greater Daughters of Paradise, then wed her beloved Igneous Rock (1440-) and bore him Marble (b. 1483) and Limestone Pie (b.1485), those five being the Pie Sisters, who collectively would do much of inestimable value for Ponykind.
You love genology, Tolken would be proud.
3051489 Of course! After all, genealogy is better than cotton candy on top of a fountain of chocolate!
3051523 Well, yeah. That sounds disgusting. Sure, it's sweet, but those textures would not work together.

His Hobbits would approve. Actually, that was one of the things I liked about them -- their love of genealogy.
3051682 If Pinkie Pie says it, I believe it. She is almost certainly better informed on cotton candy atop chocolate fountains than I will ever be.
3051771 Eh, I'm especially sensitive to the "irritation" part of flavour. Can't eat tomatoes unless they've been mashed to a pulp, and for the longest time I thought that cheesecake sounded horrible, because nobody bothered to tell me that it was made with cream cheese and I was left to assume it had a sharp cheddar.
INteresting tale with the idea of using necromancy. Was she a unicorn or the much more interesting earth pony that miraculously uses magic (yes I know Pinkie's wish powers could be considered magic too but nobody seems to realize her magic).
