New chapter is in the works. I should have had it done a couple weeks ago, but life can be unpredictable. Family obligations, drama with roomies, and putting in extra hours at work.
Anyway, point is, the story is not finished and as soon as I can get over this nasty little cold my roomies were so kind to bring into the house, I'll get back on it. It'll be the final chapter of the current story arc but there's still plenty to tell, so don't fret if you're enjoying the tale.

Pancakes are survivors.
But, I'll just say that time is a slippery thing. One day of too tired from work/drama pushes back writing drive, which turns into two and then weeks. I certainly don't mean it to go that way, but it's terribly easy to set something aside while you focus on other crap that seems important at the time. I swear I'm gonna finish this bloody thing, haha.
Happy to see you are still working on this fic. Recently re-read the whole thing and can't wait for the next chapter.

At least you're not Sunshine and Fire when it comes to chapters. (Love the story, but damn, the last chapter was released a few days ago. A year and some after the one before it. It's been here for a long while.
