The new episode was actually kind of nice. I'm not a HUGE fan of CMC episodes beyond season 1, and this one didn't exactly impress me, but I did enjoy it. With this episode, every single CMC has been visited by Luna and taught some sort of important lesson by her. I also find it interesting how these sorts of episodes were spaced out over 3 seasons. Kinda neat.

I do hope the show does another episode of "love you for who you are and others will follow" because it's an important lesson that I feel was delivered in a sort of... weak way. It got a bit preachy at the end, and even though the show runs on that sort of thing, it was a bit too... blatant. It makes sense when there's a diary entry or a letter to Celestia to be so up front and clear cut about the lesson learned. When it's just conversation... it feels a little awkward.
Also, AB's voice is changing. Not that I care too much, it was just painfully obvious in this episode. I do hope the twitter mites (interesting name, by the way, considering which website the writers just attended to a bunch of drama on concerning LAST week's episode) are real. They're cool as fuck.
Overall, an okay episode. Since I'm doing little review of them every week, I guess I'll rank them like my pal Present Perfect does. I'd give them a number, but I feel like that's a bit unnecessary and contrived. Instead, I'll just rip off his rating system completely.
