So, news. Good, bad and other.
Author existence failure has not occurred. Life is complicating fantasy, but I'm still actively writing, and plan to complete JPT. I've actually increased my writing efforts, and feel that my speed and skill are gradually increasing. Unfortunately, I doubt that will be apparent for a while, as the bulk of my recent writing has been on an original story (That said, the next chapter is about half done, and I have a nice trip coming up, so one can never tell).
As I mentioned before, though, I have no plans to discontinue penning pony prose, and I was recently inspired to contribute a small snippet to:
Additionally, I recently met with Cold in Gardez (Being that we're both in Japan and all - he's a cool guy), and he's inspired me to give the writeoffs a try to further hone my skills. I tried to pen an entry for the most recent writeoff, but my story idea never really gelled and I ran out of time.
So I apologize for the wait, but hopefully you can enjoy Anthem and any other bits that I come up with in the meantime.
It's good to see you're still writing, and making some more friends in the process as well. I can wait for a new chapter to come, and from the looks of it, it's going to be great.
I'm down here in Japan as well; come drop by Sasebo if you want to talk.
It was great working with you, and it'll be good to see you in the Writeoffs!

Thanks, I certainly hope so!
I'm up in Tokyo, but if I ever have an opportunity to head down to Nagasaki, it'd be cool to meet up.
