Saw the first episode"s" of season 5 which I thought was quite good. I'm not sure how I will incorporate season 5 into DoH (if at all) as of yet... Given that the focus of the story is not the Mane 6 and Ponyville there may only be passing references.
As I'm laying out in my head the remaining 1/3-1/2 of the story I'm finding it to keep expanding and get more complex... stupid RadicalDishonesty pointing out issues with GH... *end fake rant* I absolutely love the criticisms from RD as it has been really helpful in making sure I stay on top of issues... wish I had RD doing this from the start as I would have not had as many issues with pacing in the first book)
I had figured around 120k when I started this book but I'm thinking at this point closer to 150k... still too soon to say for sure but man the end always seems further away the closer I think I am
