Gen 1 vs Gen 4 vs Gen 5 · 1:03pm February 20th

So I was talking to a commenter on the (currently) On Hiatus Tales of a Dragon Clan asking them about what they thought about Üā Sūt Cktüis (How to be Dragon) because they had both series in their library. I was curious to see if they noticed the commonalities(and divergencies) and if and how that might have effected their reading of said series...because all of my series share commonality not unlike the different Gens in MLP (although Transformers is an even better analogous)

Yes, if you read any of the three series (The KeeperVerse, A Bridge Between Brothers, or (Üā Sūt Cktüis [How to be Dragon]) You may be able to guess some twists, plot, character, or history from your understandings of the others worldbuilding which I will only give a few minor examples as to not be too spoilerific (though a few aren't really spoilers):

  1. Ancient Draconian its use and its mechanics are essentially the same
  2. The appearance/mention of, well, let's call it an 'entity,' by the name of 'The Voice'

But than again you are just likely to guess wrong in some way as I tend to remove/add certain accepts (which can then drastically effect characters locations, history and how magic/dragons function) such as:

  1. Having a different driving force such as the Keepers (which only appear in the KeeperVerse)
  2. When the story begins(and what it ignores) on the FIM:MLP timeline i.e. The Keeperverse 'begins' in season 4 has only a bit of season 5 before ignoring the rest) How To be Dragon however starts in mid season 8 and ignores 9 and beyond)
  3. Having a Traxti City with a different history, in a different location, or contain different types of citizens(creatures).

If you have any you saw or want to discuss anything feel free to comment below (this is your only warning about spoilers in the comments)
