I have finished writing Spike's Nameless Brother · 5:47pm Apr 2nd, 2015
So, last night I typed the final two words on the story, it felt weird, but in a good way. I started it almost three years ago and it's not finally finished. I've learned a lot since the day I watched my first episode, mostly about writing and grammar structure, but friendship too (not really from the show, but from any friends I've gained because of the show). Could my story have been better? Sure, I hadn't realized just how daunting a task a long story can be when you focus on so many characters at once. I had roughly six plus main characters! If you count the mane six, then far more. Still, it was a blast to write.
I've read and faved hundreds of stories since I started and it never gets old. Even some of my favorite tropes like Scootaorphan (I don't have a problem! ). Or anything else I've read. I'm pretty tolerant of even just okay fics because I know as long as the author is trying, then they will get better. Sometimes even bad fics... not really, but I try. We're all (hopefully) striving to become better authors, this site has given us all a lot.
When I do submit my story's final chapters, I'll be happy knowing I finished something so weird but grand. I will also be able to move on and write new fics, or finish some more live ones
Just give me a bit of time to finalize things, and maybe edit the un edited chapters (who have been sorely needing it) and then this story will be finished!
Happy Reading~
