Why I hate "Pewdiepie Saves Equestria" · 2:45am Mar 18th, 2015
It's one of the most popular stories I've ever written, and I absolutely despise it.
When I wrote it I was a huge PDP fan, but then I grew up and realized that he's really just a loud-mouthed, irritating douchebag. Now I can't stand the asshole, and now I can't stand the story.
Not to mention that it's poorly written, full of in-jokes that no one other than PDP fans would understand, and full of laughably pathetic dialogue. All in all, it's one of the worst stories I've ever written. I hate it.
And I hate that it got so popular.
It's funny. I shit on "ponefamous" authors a lot, either because I genuinely don't like them or I'm just jealous; but it's gotta be ironic that one of my most "famous" stories is also one that I absolutely loathe. I mean I don't have high opinions of any of my "famous" stories, but seriously.
"Pewdiepie Saves Equestria" is an abomination. People should have ripped it to shreds, not given it thousands of views. And now I'm considering deleting the story entirely.
Although I'm hesitant. I'd feel really guilty if I did delete it, considering there are tons of people who did really enjoy it. I'm now locked in a dilemma: should I delete this story because I think it's a POS and a blight on my record, even though a lot of people liked it and still like it?
I don't want to be famous for spewing idiotic shit. I mean, not anymore than I already am.
well he used to be funny when he was love making video now...he just well how to explain umm lets just say he become more and more ridiculous than ever. and compare the new one i would rather listen to his old video than the new one
The fic actually is well written and quite funny. Many people have lost their expectation with Pewdiepie for several reasons. I'm loosing mine because he is starting to change to much. It is still funny. I'm just worried it might go to his head someday. You shouldn't hate a story just because you hate a celebrity. Pewdiepie may be annoying, but Pinkie Pie is to. And we can all agree that we love Pinkie. That's what makes these two characters iconic.
It really annoys me that all because someone doesn't like Pewdiepie they go on major rants. Just remember him as old Pewdie. You know the one that was just there to do playthroughs and not dye his hair blue. Trust me, you should probably keep that fic and not hate it. I think if he read it himself he would be flattered. I did some research and found out that your Pewdiepie fanfic was one of the few that hit success.
Though the way your depicing Pewdiepie is actually the way a hater would. I understand if your a hater which you probobly are. If you take a second look at him you would probably have second thoughts. He is a nice dude. He even raised one million dollars for charity. Why, calling him a view whore and saying he does this all for money would be pointless. If he were to quit his job right now, he would be set for life and he would still be earning money.
Most bros as you know often reply to haters. I don't have a problem with them. This is actually the first time I'm replying to a hater.
It doesn't piss me off the way you depict Pewdiepie. What pisses me off is that you want to get rid of your most successful story, because you hate him, and you want to get rid of it because you are embarrassed that you wrote it.
I say... IGNORE THE FIC. You can just move on to other stuff. Just keep it and move on. Write about Markiplier if you have to. I don't care what you think about Pewdiepie. Part of being the perfect writer, is not only writing what you want, but as well as writing the things other people want. If you don't want something happening, maybe you should take a second guess because that "happening" could make things better.
I have to say though. I respect that you were forth right to your opinion. I'm in the bro army and I say... okay.
You could always atone by making a Markiplier fic. =)
hmm if you hate pewdiepie why not try markplier? hes never change much infact he stay who he is till now but hes still funny like always unlike pewdiepie

2888054 First off, Brandon, I don't "hate" Pewdiepie. I just don't like him. "Hate" is a strong word that I only reserve for special occasions.
As for a Markiplier fanfic...maybe.

Really? You hate it that much? Then get rid of it then if you hate it. If you do, warn the others who faved it and delete the fic. Simple as that.
