State of the Writer, April 2024!

    It's another boring one! I ain't wrote nothin'! :B

It actually feels lately like I've been crawling out of a pit? So maybe there's a light ahead? But it's also blocked by Balatro lol somepony save me D:

The only other thing relevant to this blog is that I've had notes for a vs. post sitting in my notes document for probably the entire month now, what is wrong with me? D:

Fic recs, April 22nd: Jordan179 edition

Once again, though a good bit late, I bring it upon myself to memorialize an author via reviews of their stories. Though this time, it's different, as I had no connection to Jordan179 and only learned of his passing (three years ago this month, coincidentally), from this post

Another post about video games and Youtube and stuff

If I'm going to waste time watching shit on Youtube, the least I can do is tell people about it. :P

Ceave is a crazy Austrian with a love of video games and a head for philosophizing about them. Plus he really, really hates coins, no matter how tasty they may look.

Do you like video games? How about philosophy?

I like one of those things for sure, but no one combines the two better than a Youtuber named InfernalRamblings, a former professional game developer who now creates hour and a half long video essays about the meanings of video games and how they relate to the world today. Here's a few highlights, since this is now basically my only

The Clock Is Ticking: Almost done! · 8:07pm Mar 8th, 2015

To anyone who was waiting for day 6 to drop, my apologies, I kind of forgot to publish it this morning and was out all day. It's up now though, so it's all good! :B

FORGET ALL THE STUFF BELOW THIS. THE CLOCK IS TICKING FINISHES MARCH 15TH! GET HYPE!

So with two chapters left, I face a conundrum. Here's how it stands:

I started publishing this story weekly to make up for the months of February and March when I knew I'd mostly be working and not having time to write. I didn't account for there being five Sundays in March, so there's that, but I've got something to cover it now. <.<

Parts 7 and 8 are both under 1000 words each. In fact, the next chapter is under 500 words, though it's the climax of the story and thus very important. So my question is, do you want me to stick to the one-per-week updating schedule, or publish the last two chapters together so you have something more substantial to read on the 15th?

Leave comments in blog! :B I'll go post a link to this on the story for anyone who doesn't have it faved or whatever.

Hurry up and publish it! This is sooooooo good!

Publish them together.

Don't listen to us, listen to the story! Is it best served by having a beat between Ch. 7 and Ch. 8, or not?

Publish it together. It's a good read thanks!

Publish them together! I'm Excited to read it as soon as I can :)
