So Tempting....

So I got past my writer's block and am getting some good headway into the next update. But there is something in the chapter that is almost hilariously bad. Bad in a good way. Like, many will groan and cringe as they read it while others will laugh. So at risk of getting the former, I will share with ya'll probably the most used reference ever. I will likely not use it in the final draft of the update, but I have to share it anyway.

Here's an excerpt of the chapter.

"The park is so pretty in the fall here. With the leaves falling and all." Sweetie Belle said as they ventured out to the small outing they called a park. It was nothing more than some paved roads that interconnected with statues, bird baths, and benches to decorate it.

"And what season it is now?"

"Can't you tell? It's spring!"

"The entire year of the Crystal Empire was basically a different variation of the same season. Winter, winter with extra ice, and winter with extra snow. Not much in my memory about spring. Or fall. Definitely not about summer."

"You must have been cold a lot then."

"Meh, the cold never bothered me anyway."

I swear it is way too tempting to leave it like that if only to see what sort of reactions I get from it.

If I can get away with doing an entire scene from Star Wars with my character disguised as Sombra playing the part of Vader then you can do that. References every now and then make people smile, just don't use them too often.
