Season 5 is Coming! · 11:07pm Feb 11th, 2015
Yes, yes, I know this is my second blog post in the same day... but the new trailer for season 5 has come out.
First off, those grins are freakin' creepy. And this is coming from me: I have some pretty creepy grins myself (I freak out my housemates constantly when I feel like it).
Secondly, Rainbow Dash is still my favourite pony. Monsters? Bring it! Rainbow Dash can take it!
And thirdly, it occurs to me that I've never seen this site whilst the show was airing. I only joined after the end of season 4: I'm a relatively new brony, all things considered. The fourth season had just started when I turned to the pony side, if I'm not much mistaken.
And I certainly never turned towards fanfiction until I had well run out of pony to watch. Believe it or not, I had a pretty low opinion of fanfiction before succumbing to it myself (my sister read it, and when you hear stories about Captain America X Iron Man, you kinda' wonder what kind of people write stuff like that... obviously I ship myself by this point. Oh, the irony).
Does this place get more active? Less active? Do groups revolving around new ponies pop up every five seconds? I've not been hyped about anything, but frankly, I'm burning with curiosity. Either that, or it's just the cheap whisky.
Curiosity has kind of been one of my major weaknesses: I'm greedy for knowledge. Not in-depth knowledge... but I love being able to know things about everything. It's why someone who does engineering also reads around philosophy, history, military tactics, draws, writes, does martial arts, reads around psychology...
And now I'm curious about this, too. Well, be warned: I may start treating you guys as an experiment. I do that sometimes. Just be careful around me if I start probing you with questions whilst wearing a lab coat... although I guess you wouldn't know about that last part (spoiler: I'm wearing one now).
Ooh, this is going to be fun.
