Going Away for a Few Months · 8:12pm Feb 11th, 2015
So for those that don't know, which would probably be all of you, I recently joined the National Guard. For those that don't live in the United States or don't know what that is, it's sort of like a domestic army. My graduation date is June 5th. For about four months, I will not have access to a computer, so I can't write, respond to notes, or make comments on stuff.
In my absence, I would like to give my general consent that all my intellectual material is free to use. Essentially, you can write a sequel to any of my fics, use any lore I introduced (such as Shrinking Violet, the Pony-Griffon War, or the Black Gem), any characters I introduced (such as Gilford and Lawful) or any characterizations I introduced (such as Blueblood being a Broken Ace, Knight in Sour Armor, and Jerk with a Heart of Gold; Vinyl being severely depressed, and Octavia and Thunderlane starting a relationship). I would only ask that you credit me when using something big, but if you take a page from my works to inspire your own, don't worry.
Anyway, I will be back in a few months with any luck. Or I'll get killed. But hey, I managed to get in the Feature Box! If anyone wants to make up a TV Tropes page or Friendship Wiki for one of my fics, it would be awesome.
In closing, if I do get back alright, I would like to resume writing. I still have a sequel to But You Also Get Some Sun which ships Blueblood and Vinyl Scratch. The reason I haven't edited it is that everyone I commission to do the cover art keeps dropping off. I would also like to expand the The Importance of Proper Diplomacy When Engaging Rival Governments for the Purposes of an Official Treaty.
Welp. Wish you luck dude.
I wish you luck my friend, you have chosen a hard road to walk but it can be a rewarding one
Whoa, stay safe out there man.
I want to say "good luck", but there's no luck were you're headed, only hard work.
Best wishes! Thanks for serving!
The shipping sequel is still on? Awesome.
Good luck with the National Guard.
