After six months of work and probably close to two years of planning, I am finally on the brink of posting a new fic to FIMFiction.
It follows Twilight Sparkle as she travels to the Griffon Kingdom, to speak to Gilford, the Griffon King, about a formal treaty between the two empires. It is an attempt at developing the griffons beyond Always Chaotic Evil, as well as developing Gilford as a griffon version of Celestia.
Needless to say, I am expecting it to be flamed to ash before the first hour it’s been up is done.
Still, for some silly hope at writing a fic that people will actually give a chance to, I am looking for a beta reader. I am worried about little things, such as too much dialogue, Gilford’s emotions aren’t real, and Celestia is out of character.
If you are knowledgeable about my personal MLP canon, the regular MLP canon, and 70’s Hard Rock, and you would be willing to take a look at the fic, please let me know. Considering that criteria, I’d take two out of three.
I would like to get this fic up next week, so please don’t promise something than take six months to say you can’t do it.
The fic is around 17 pages, and I believe about 9k words.
I'm not really interested, as I like to be an editor. Just some general stuff, though, I think you should include in your blog how long the actual story is. You said you want it done in a week, which is pretty intimidating without saying the length.
