I'm really busy.

That's kind of a short message though, right?

Tomorrow, I get my exam results. On Friday, I have a lab report to give in. I'm submitting stuff for the Valentines thing on the EqD. I have to do an online test soon. Electromechanical Devices.

I've already said this on the Olympus group, but I'm going to be very occupied until Saturday. Too occupied to review things, at least. I'll just have to play catch-up during the week-end.

I guess I'm just letting you guys know that despite this, I've finished the entry for the aforementioned Hearts and Hooves day thing. I hope you guys like fridges... it's kind of a theme I have going on. And AppleDash... oh yeah, there's plenty of that.

What? Were you seriously expecting something else from me?

It clocks in at 9K words. It still needs plenty of editing... mostly to make sure nothing comes out of the blue to jar the reader out of immersion, and all that jazz. Still, I'm pretty damn happy with it so far: it's got romance, art, fridge warfare, and copious amounts of lying. Because that's all ponies ever do: lies and romance.

... unless it's a crossover. Did I mention I don't like those?

Do I even need to explain why? I mean, I've made jabs at HiE before, but when push came to shove, I wrote one in order to prove to myself that good ones could exist. But even though I've seen clever crossovers that were well written, I still dislike the very idea. For every good crossover, there are a hundred god-awful ones.

One day I might even be forced to do one myself to show everyone how it's done. Except that I'd have to get really, really drunk first.

But hey! That's how I wrote the HiE!

Amirite?

So there's your message from today's blog post: I have moar AppleDash for you guys (I put the mystery story on hold because unlike the Hearts and Hooves thing, I have no deadline on that one) and I dislike crossovers. Kind of anti-climactic, I guess.

Ah well. You'll get over it. Probably.

Have a good one!
