I mean, Happy Independence Day!
I'd love to take this opportunity to showcase some wonderful Flight of the Alicorn art that I was surprised and delighted to see this week!
First, "She Hoped There Would be Hats," by Obsequiosity, whose pony comics are extremely funny!

At the end of Flight of the Alicorn, Rarity deserves a giant hat.
Always a good sign when your story inspires such great art. Poor Rarity is going to need a hug by the end of all the stuff she has been put through.
Nice! I'm glad to see that people have tackled Rarity among the fishes, as I thought that was a very cinematic mental image that certainly makes a great illustration subject. Happy Independence Day to all of my fellow Americans! I had a cook out and just finished watching Cagney in "Yankee Doodle Dandy", so my day worked out great.
Awesome art. My first thought when I read the underwater bubble scene was 'I hope somebody draws this.' And now they have.
The 'hats' picture is great, too. The caption taken from the story is a nice touch.
