Thought you could just leave it blank, and link the chapter. :twilightblush:

Give me a moment, and I'll change it to:

Well. That is really disturbing. It reminds me of the Discworld novel (I think Hogfather) where the tooth fairy used all the teeth she had collected, via sympethetic magic, to cause children to stop believing in, I think, the Hogfather, and others. I can't recall why, but it was a rather convulted mess, but it made sense.

Also, I can both see a tooth faerie existing and being extremely dangerous in Dresden Files.

in Five score, I never really finished the original. I am uncertain as to whether or not Equestria was manifest anywhere, and if they could travel to it, and presumably fight Discord. If not, then I can see that universe as not actually having a legit Equestria.

I've thought about power of belief alot. It can allow for a lot of interesting things, even if somewhat illogical, simply due to people believing it to be fact.

Anyhow, In here, I am no longer certain of the Status of an Equestia, It might also be possible that his theories are right. Yes, The Phobophages (I think that was their name) worked exactly like that.

I doubt the Elements of Harmony could manifest that powerfully. I am assuming that Power of belief's ability to warp reality is proportional to the number of people believing, as well as how strongly they believe, and how powerfull the thing they believe in is believed to be. And believe meaning at least treating something as factual subconsciously. People treat fiction like that all the time. MLP is nowhere near as popular as Christianity, let alone the rest that believe in capital G God. Also in Dresden files, God is implied to have existed from the beginning, not from human belief, or any others.
Hence, they would still be limited in power. Whether or not that power could make itself stronger as stated, I have no idea.
Also, those voices, aside from being horridly formatted, could be beliefs of Fluttershy's personality from people who know of her. Which is a really depressing perspective, but it is always possible to fake anything.

Got a quick correction for you:

“You won’t even dirty your damn hooves to permanently remove a civilization spanning treat…”

Should be threat.

I really gotta give you props Lord of Dorkness for bringing up the idea of 'clap if you believe' plotline. It's a brilliant reuse of what I thought was a substandard entry in the Dresden Files series. Even if it's not true, just the idea of it, burning in the background of both Dresden (and our!) minds is complete madness and perhaps the most evil thing an author can do. Good job :pinkiehappy:

Flutters was finally really pissed off. Beautiful. :raritycry:
And I'm going to proofread shit out of you. ...But later.

Just casus belli. Fourth declension, so it same in singular and plural.

Tenebrae (more often used, but it's plural) or Tenebra.

By the way, it's now never than/then and similar stuffies.
You are really improved. Good job! :yay:

Commentary: "In my mind’s eye, I could see it. Squadron after squadron of soldier falling, their forms twisting and melting under a horrible rainbow light, as hundreds upon hundreds of mares with wide, empty grins tumbled down onto the ground."

Oh god, that was awesome. I missed reading your things. Please hurry. I need things to edit to raise my endorphin levels.

Thanks, and for the spelling fixes as well.

Tenebrae (more often used, but it's plural) or Tenebra.

Went with Tenebra, since it sounds slightly more feminine.

By the way, it's now never than/then and similar stuffies.

Know it must sound silly to a native speaker, but to me things like than/then, to/too, and even its/it's sound freaking identical, and it can be a real struggle to remember the differences in the heat of writing.

Think I'm getting better and better, though, even if progress is annoyingly slow sometimes.

Forgot a 'use' in there.

But, yeah...

I'm having fun with with this one! :pinkiehappy:

Seriously, though, the combo of 'Fluttershy' and 'badass wizard' works shockingly well. Who knew, right? :rainbowderp:

I've heard a lot of people that things the Dresden series only hit it's stride with Dead Beat...

(And you-know-who doing you-know-what to the thingy in that awesome manner. :twilightoops:)

...but I'm personally one of those that think the series landed running all the way back in Storm Front. Morgan's introduction, Tot-tot's intro, Dresden's intro, Marcone's intro, a gloriously heart-wrenching example why black magic isn't a toy...

A lot of awesome happened in that book. :yay:

Still, glad you like the twist on the concept of faith magic.

Heh, so they moved that bar all the way up to halfway through the series? Rather unfair if you ask me.

Personally I heard that line in regards to Grave Peril, when Michael Carpenter is introduced (out of fucking nowhere in the first chapter even as old buddies with Dresden!), and I do think it's a step above the first two books in the series. I said substandard entry, not bad entry, and I actually like every single one of the books. Just some books are better than others in how they are put together. Grave Peril is one such shining example, Dead Beat is another, Changes is a third and so on. Not to say all the other books are bad, but the author was trying for different things in each one (especially the introduction) and some of them really worked well.

Still, glad you like the twist on the concept of faith magic.

Well, a bit of spoilers of my own but I actually don't think it's true. I think Dresden is imprisoning (at least in the case of Twilight Sparkle; Cadance and Luna are being extremely shady. Like that Celestia, the only true diplomat among them, didn't get a chance to talk and try to resolve the issue before Dresden imprisoned her) these pacifist ponies unjustly and is going to allow another world to be doomed to Discord out of his own paranoia and Nemo's brony assumption of the Conversion Bureau that he read (nice meta twist there by the way).

I got a whole writeup I'll post once the chapter is publicly posted to argue the case, and even if it was true, the characters (and elements) would still be bound by what everyone believes them to be -- benign and friendly. And Twilight Sparkle has a soul (actually that's a maybe, you damn tease for aborting a soul gaze) and can be affected by Name magic (which is only for creatures with souls? I mean you can summon non-soul creatures like Mab by saying her name, but you can't control her. And Dresden was only summoned in Cold Days by the Mother Winter reversing the summons that Dresden started, not by a separate summoning). The other alicorns on the other hand... I don't think they are on the up and up. Perhaps Twilight was another human who simply got caught and 'corrected' first?

Damn you, I can't exactly dismiss the idea entirely even if I don't believe it. That's the evil part :pinkiehappy:
