You know that thing I do? · 12:48am Jun 30th, 2012
Where I start updating people on the progress of my next story/chapter? Well, I'm doing it right now.
The first chapter of my next story is about halfway done, unless my prereaders notice some huge, glaring problem (which, so far, they haven't). They have, however, given indicated that my ideas for this story are more or less as good as I'd hoped they were. (And I mean that "more or less" part literally: some are more enthusiastic than expected, and some less, but none of them have reacted negatively).
Anyway, I think expect the first chapter of "Inscape" to appear within a week---possibly before Monday, if I get it finished in time to get it in the story queue by then. Still, no promises.
Oh, and lest I forget---this is the sequel to "Petriculture" that I thought I'd never write.
Aww yeah!
SCORE!!! I loved Petriculture! Now i can't wait to see this!
203578 If he's headed where I think he's headed with it it'll be a good read. If he's headed somewhere else... it'll be mind blowing.
203583 Here's hoping for the latter.
203586 you'll enjoy it either way. Like everything else he writes it'll be good
203583 Here's to hoping for the second. Mindblowing is the best!
203583
Given that I found the idea mind-blowing when I came up with it, it's probably the latter. (To put that in perspective, I merely found Petriculture's premise to be "really clever and interesting.")
I am excited, because Petriculture was just amazing. And brilliant. It was brilliantly amazing.
YEAH!
First we are told that Pinkie is a 4th wall breaking figment of Twilights imagination that broke out into the world. But that is not a big deal right? That is just Pinkie being Pinkie. But wait just when you thought your mind was safe.

Meanwhile on the moon it turns out the entire Mane6 is only in Lunas head teaching her about the magic of friendship to overcome the Nightmare.
Should probably mention, that the way I proofread objectively is to become emotionally detached. Not unemotional, since the way a story makes you feel is an objective assessment, but to the point of trying to nullify purely subjective feedback. So if you want to know how "excited" I actually am for something, you will need to actually ask for subjective feedback. As for how excited I am for this story, based on what I've seen so far?

Well I guess I have a story to read before Monday.
More Petriculture? Huzzah!
