Sequel Time for Forbidden Melodies! · 3:55am Jan 4th, 2015
I'm not one to repost the same information again and again, but with the lack of attention from both previous readers and followers alike, I wanted to make sure folks were aware, so let me tag the first fiction and then ask y'all a question:
Did you know there is a sequel to Forbidden Melodies? 
Changed the cover art as well by Rainbowbob's recommendation. I'll agree that custom art is better than recolored puppet models, but I don't think it captures the feels as much as the previous selection. Any who, don't view this as a cry for attention for the fiction, I was just surprised that no one seemed interested at all in the sequel. I hate advertizing things over and over, but I wanted to doubly make sure that you guys knew that the sequel existed at all if the reason it's gotten very little attention was that no one knew about it. I thought people were notified in the feeds when sequels were published to fictions in their favorites, but I guess not?
However, if it was the case that it was received with a resounding "meh", please let me know. It makes some sense as it is not a sad, serious fiction like the previous entry which could disappoint folks, but I'd like to know if that is the case. For me, the only thing worse than negative feedback is none at all.
Thanks for reading the same information twice. If this IS the first time you've heard about the sequel and you usually get notifications of my activities on the site, please let me know! I need to know what I need to do to make sure folks who are interested in reading such material know of its existence. I have very few tools at my disposal to notify readers and I'd rather not make chapters of existing fictions advertising sequels. It's not a new chapter, it's just an ad! I hate that!
This is the first time I've seen it, but I've generally found tagged bloged posts from authors I don't follow don't add a notification to the feed icon even if they do show up in my feed.

I see the blog post has already gotten a lot more views than the one actually linking to the sequel. I'll keep that in mind if I make any more sequels to other fictions. Thank you for helping clear that up!

I think I need to clarify the post though that it is meant for those who usually receive notifications of my activities here on the site such as followers and folks who favorite specific stories. I need to figure out how to let you guys know of things that may interest you and if I'm doing something wrong in disseminating that information.
