Okay... I admit it.
I wrote a story I drew right out of my head... and found a picture that could of fit. I had no idea the picture was already someone else's. The comments that followed..... I'm revoking the story for good. I've lost all my motivation for writing. If this is what you guys were hoping for, well, it's happened. Thanks for ruining my entire day.

I'm sorry. I wasn't one of the people that commented because I honestly haven't seen your story yet....... But I wanna help however I can. Bad things can happen but you shouldn't lose hope or will to write.
If there is anything I can do let me know.
Suggestion: simply use a different picture for the story. That's what I would do were I challenged on that regard.

When someone asked Blacksilverflames whether he had permission to use the art, he was all like 'yeah, totes', swapped it to whatever it is now, and deleted the comments. If he's trying to make the impression that he didn't know about the art being made for a specific story, he's doing a piss-poor job of it. If he had the permission, why delete the comments and change the pic?

Let me put it this way - there's a lot of critics on this site. It's far from the supposed idyllic place of love and tolerance. But ignoring and deleting critical comments is only going to be detrimental to your image as an author. Learn to take the criticisms in stride, and keep them in mind when writing. Of course, there's a difference between criticism and being an ass. And yes, I know that sentence is hypocritical, considering I'm writing this, but if there's one thing I'm good at being at, it's a hypocrite.
