Level Dasher

What happens when a life-changing event occurs that shapes your whole life? What if that event occurs when life has barely begun? If a kid has dealt with more issues in six years than most can handle in a lifetime, how do you think they'd feel?

    Hey, Everyone!

A comment on my previous blog reminded me that I didn't update here yet, but it still won't be horribly long.

    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Onward!

Well, today's the big day. :rainbowdetermined2: The stem cell infusion should be starting within the next couple hours, and I'll be getting another dose of sleep-inducing pre-meds, so I doubt I'll actually be doing anything (other than sleeping, duh) DURING the infusion, which really should only take an hour or two.

Of course, it doesn't help when the day starts off with a literal bang in the form of smashing your head into the door via seizure... :twilightoops: That delayed the process a tad... but that's a story for another day. Now they've got me on alert. :ajbemused:

Anyway, over the last few days I FINALLY managed to drop a bit of writer's block and get a chapter or two of Crimson just about wrapped up. :pinkiehappy: I'm posting Ch34 now. Chapter 35 should be up in a day or two if I don't forget. I can't make any guarantees about when I'll get to the chapters AFTER, but hopefully I mentioned (if it hasn't been clear enough) that at this point I have NO regular update schedule. I'm basically just continuing when I can.

To those of you that have been in contact, I greatly appreciate the well-wishes, as well as helping me pass the time (even if some of it is time that should be spent sleeping... womp :derpytongue2:). Last night in particular was a blast (you know who you are! :raritywink:).

Now for a complete lack of any topic transition.

I hope you all have pleasant holidays.

Update:

Infusion was pretty chill. Got some rest, nothing horrible.

Now to sit for a couple of weeks and let the cells graft. Tallyho!

I hope you didn't hit your head to hard or cut it or anything when you hit the door with it. Good luck on the infusion.
