Two New Stories Dropping Thursday! · 8:28pm Dec 9th, 2014
They're almost here! I know, you guys have been waiting a while, but this is your official announcement: The final two side stories will hit FimFiction this Thursday! You guys have been patiently waiting forever, and that patience is paying off at last. Especially since, you know, this means the next time I update with something new it'll be "Beyond the Borderlands," Book II of the Dusk Guard Saga! Yahoo!
But I'm really glad to get these last two stories out. At long last we're going to get closer look at the last two members of the Dusk Guard: Hunter and Dawn Triage. Better yet, with concurrent stories (and the reason for that will be clear soon).
Anyway, here's your little tease at what's coming:
Remembrance
After weeks of being on duty, First Lieutenant Hunter of the Dusk Guard is finally getting his day off—on a specific date of his own choosing. Most would use their day off for fun and games, seeing family, or just enjoying some well-deserved R&R. But not Hunter. He's going to visit someone special. Someone he sees once a year.
And this time, he's making the trip alone.
Trust
Not too long ago, Sergeant Major Dawn Triage, medic of the Dusk Guard, broke a rule. It was easy. Simple, even. No one said anything. No one even noticed. And it wasn't a major rule. She simply ... neglected ... to ask for permission from a patient of hers before running a test. It was only to indulge a faint curiosity, an interest that she was fairly certain would never achieve any actionable result. What harm could it do, she'd asked herself, if nothing ever came of it?
Perhaps she should have asked herself what would have happened if something had.
So, these stories will update in-sync with one another. "Remembrance" will update once a week, on Thursday, while "Trust," being shorter, will be staggered to finish at the same time as "Remembrance." So the final chapter for both stories will drop on January 1st, 2015. A good omen of what's to come!
Anyway, just a heads-up to be on the lookout for these last two side stories to "Rise!"

My family & I are going to be visiting my grandparents down in Houston on Friday and they don't have a very good Internet connection (takes forever for a simple webpage to load), so I'll probably have to wait until January to read the future chapters.
Yes! finally we're going to see two of the long awaited storys.
glad it perfectly fits in my plans. Now I am going to enjoy thursday even more! Because, tomorrow(so mine tomorrow) I'll quit this darn 'job'(is it a job when you don't get paid? Or maybe the bosses think being yelled at and calling me names is a form of payment, then I would be really rich.)
