027 New story: Icebreaker
First and foremost, I'd like to thank all who read Expulsion, to which this story is a sequel. Without your support in form of kind comments (and other, slightly more numerical values), I would've never decided to continue the adventures of Sonata Dusk and Sunset Shimmer at Canterlot High. Alas, this is how it's going to be - I give you the Icebreaker, a two-parter [Slice of Life] sequel rated E for Everyone exploring the humanverse and the characters within!
The reasons behind writing this fic are twofold. First is to give you more about dusky shimmers, obviously. Second is to establish some characters, places, and relations in my take on CHS which I'd be interested in discovering in the future. Sort of a harbor from which any future fic may set sails.
Other than than, have fun! Here's your obligatory short description:
Sonata has a plan to regain the respect of her peers. It involves Sunset Shimmer, tea, and a promise of small eatables.
Oh this is interesting. I've read the first chapter and enjoyed it a lot. The idea and Sonata's view on the world is not only totally in her character but quite understandable...I suppose feeding off negative emotions since Starswirl banished her was keeping her occupied from learning things about this new world.
I eagerly await the second part. Well done on the first, thanks for the read (so far!)
