Inspiration

I'd like to talk about how I get my Ideas. Most of the time, i get inspiration from anime or games or songs. for example i designed Shadow Strike after listening to "Short Change Hero" the intro song to the video game Borderlands 2 and Long Shot is based off Yoko from Tengen Toppa Gurenn Lagaan. In fact, the entirety of my first fic was originally going to be a ponification of borderlands called "Discord-erlands" just replacing characters from the game with ponies from the show. I'll make a list of what I replaced

Eventually I Got bored just writing word for word what happens in Borderlands 2 and decided to write my own story. though some of the original idea's did make it into the final story, Like Shadow Strike is obviously a reference to Zer0, Long Shot's back story is a reference to tiny tina (heck originally i was going to make her a thestral named blood wing as a reference to mordecai's pet bird) but or the most part the characters are new and only use those references as a base to build off of.
