Well, as promised, I finally got around to updating Fool's Gambit. I know that it took me some time, and many of you are wondering "why the heck is he working on this garbage instead of Nautilus or What I've Become?"
The answer is that I cannot control my muse, and that I write these stories not for fame, but because I enjoy writing, and I really need the practice if I'm going to be designing and creating video games.
Yes, that's my goal for college. I want to design, write, and program video games. For that reason, I need to become a better author, so I need as much experience at creating narrative, characters and plot as possible.
That being said, any advice is appreciated, and I hope you continue to read my stories.
Anyway, Nautilus Protocol is up next for an update, so keep an eye out for it!
And it becomes the first story I can take off my "stories that need updates" shelf! Excellent
A video game designer? Probably a good choice. Lots of competition, but the market is never saturated. I started out as a TV repairman, and worked my way into "broadcast television engineer" before that market collapsed. I think you'll do better. Best of luck to you!
The introduction for Fool's Gambit didn't draw me in, but knowing the quality of your other stories (and waiting impatiently for updates thereof) I decided to read it anyway. It's pretty good so far, after all!
